Back at Camotes

Carebears in Camotes

Our company decided to have our last sponsored trip in Camotes. I’ve been to Camotes before, and it was really nice there. So I’m stoked when I learned we are going back there.

So we stayed at Santiago Bay Resort, and the view of the beach there is really beautiful. They also have an infinity pool if you just feel like dipping on a non-salty water. The place is also clean and the service is good.

We toured around Camotes and went to some caves there (Bukilat, and Timubo Cave). We also went to Lake Danao and went kayaking around the serene waters of the lake. It was really fun.

And you cannot go to Camotes without snorkelling the marine sanctuaries there. It was really nice, and that was also my first time to actually see a trench underwater. It was pretty scary, and it felt like something’s coming out of that dark abyss. 🙂

It was so much fun and I couldn’t imagine spending it with other people but with my nerd officemates. It was nice to finally get out of the chair coding, and walk under the sun. 🙂
