What song reminds you of your childhood?

I was in a coffee shop having my lunch when I heard the song “Please Forgive Me” by Bryan Adams. And in an instant, a flash of memories filled in my thoughts, mostly from my childhood.

It’s so weird because every time I hear this song, I always remember this blurry childhood scene where my sister and my neighbor was doing some laundry in a well. I don’t know what happened that day. I only know that I was singing that song to my sister, and they were laughing.

Also, when I hear this song, I remember a sunny afternoon looking at our audio component, lying on the couch. And whenever I think of it, I feel peaceful and calm. It’s one of the best feelings in the world just reminiscing that memory.

Do you know the theme song of the movie “The Never Ending Story“?

Whenever I hear this song, I remember, not only the movie, but also the night I was watching it when I was only, I think, 3 or 4. I was mesmerized by the movie that then and the song keeps on playing on my mind over and over again. I even dream of riding the white flurry dog and fly around the world.

I miss my childhood days. Really!

I miss climbing the trees and hid there when my mom is looking for me.??

I miss playing??all day and without even getting tired.

I miss going to my elementary school.

I miss the feeling of not having to worry of anything (except for the bullies in school).

I miss the awkward shyness when you’re crush pass you by (oh wait, I just experienced it yesterday. hehehehe)

I miss my Lola, and living with her every weekends, and then cry every night wanting to go home. I really really miss it.

I miss always thinking of happy thoughts so that I can fly like Peter Pan.

I miss being a kid.

But I realized that I’ve been there already, and all that was left are memories.

So I’m glad that these songs help me remember what I was when I was a kid.

At least I know that I had a life during my childhood, and to help me remember to be optimistic like I was when I was just an innocent, human being.
