Architectures of Mumbai

I went to Mumbai last December on a business trip for a week. It was my first time in India so it was pretty exciting.

We didn’t get to do that much sight-seeing because we were pretty busy with work. But on our last weekend there, we went to the southern part of Mumbai to do some touristy stuff.

This is the Bandra-Worli Sea Link we passed by as we went south of Mumbai. The bridge stretches at 5.6km and spans at 800ft.

I’m surprised of how beautiful the place was. If my history knowledge is correct, India was once colonized by the British that’s why there’s a lot of European architectural influence in the country, especially in this part of the city. It felt like I was walking on the streets of London because of how preserved the buildings are around town.

This makes me wanna go back to India and do more sight-seeing.
